Shortly before winter begins, Churchill, Manitoba experiences a six-week tourist season. Adventurers from all over the world journey to the Arctic Circle to witness an extraordinary wildlife phenomenon: hundreds of polar bears waiting for the ice to freeze on Hudson Bay. They have learned that here the ice freezes first. In Churchill they wait until they can head out onto the ice to hunt seals, their primary source of food. In the summer they hang around on the tundra without any food; in November they hang around Churchill and wait. Trip includes round-trip airfare to Winnipeg,Canada. From there, we'll fly to Churchill for 3 exciting nights. Our days are spent out on the tundra in heated Tundra buggies for "IN-YOUR-FACE BEAR VIEWING". You may also see caribou, arctic fox, snowy owl or an arctic wolf. This is an exotic and rare trip that should be on your "Bucket List".
NOTE : All tour prices are based on a cash discount. A 4% fee will be added to any tour paid by credit card.
