Thank the gods for this lovely feast as we travel by motorcoach to Kiana Lodge for Thanksgiving. Kiana Lodge is so gorgeous that many films and magnificent magazine shoots have taken place here in what Native Americans call "the Garden of the Gods" Pamper yourself in the 6-acre waterfront haven surrounded by tall firs and fragrant cedars. The historic main lodge with leaded glass windows and huge crackling fire is where we will indulge in our dinner. Be prepared for raspberry-glazed turkey, country-style stuffing, lodge potatoes, pan-roasted vegetables, sweet potato rolls, homemade pumpkin pie with whipped cream, mulled cranberry cider and coffee or tea.
