All of your airfare is included on Air New Zealand and Virgin Blue and this tour is fully escorted by a native Aussie who really knows their Foster's and Cricket. Fly to Auckland (1 night) with dinner in the Auckland Tower. Coach through sheep country and stop at the Waitomo Caves to see the Glowworm Grotto. Arrive in Rotorua (2 nights) home to the Maori natives and geothermal geysers and mud pots. Next, we fly down the backbone of the South Island's Southern Alps to the resort town of Queenstown (3 nights). A highlight will be the day trip to magnificent Milford Sound with a luncheon cruise there. Later, see Mt. Cook en route to Christchurch (1 night) before flying across the Tasman Sea to Australia. The tour slows down now so you can really experience the east coast of Australia. Spend 3 nights in Melbourne and 3 nights in Sydney with lots of local tours & sightseeing included. We even fly to Canberra, the capital, for a BBQ lunch and sheep show out on a local ranch before coaching on thru the bush to Sydney. Tour includes 20 meals-all 13 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 4 dinners.
