Join Alki Tours on Rail To The Grand Crater Lake Lodge And Rim Tour
September 4-7, 2018
4 days $899 per person/do Single supplement $289
7,700 years ago, the 12,000 foot high volcano Mt. Mazama erupted in an enormous explosion leaving nothing but a deep crater. Over hundreds of years, the crater filled with rain water and melted snow. At nearly 1,943 feet, it is the deepest lake in the U.S. A 33-mile drive around the rim offers glimpses of the intensely blue-colored water which is created by the clarity and its depth. We'll take a scenic train trip to Oregon, spend a night in Eugene and then two nights at the grand Crater Lake Lodge. Park Rangers give walks and talks at the lodge. Enjoy a guided tour of the rim, relax on the porch and listen as the rangers bring Crater Lake's history and geology vividly to life.
NOTE : All tour prices are based on a cash discount. A 4% fee will be added to any tour paid by credit card.
