Begin with a gorgeous trip past glaciers, waterfalls and dams on the North Cascades Highway. From its mountaintop perch, Sun Mountain Lodge has a commanding, 360-degree view of the North Cascades, Winthrop and surrounding valleys. Since 1989, Sun Mountain has received a fistful of awards for its restaurant and the lodge itself� including "One of the best places to kiss in the Northwest". It's pretty tough to top an award-winning lodge with good food and great views that's also a celebrated place to kiss. After a fun overnight stay, we'll continues east to Grand Coulee Dam for some dam fun sightseeing. Spend the night a stone's throw from a larger than life laser light show projected on the face of the dam! The next day, we'll head to the Bavarian village of Leavenworth for a beer and bratwurst before heading over the Cascade Mountains home.
