Take a trip east of the mountains to Lake Chelan-the 3rd deepest lake in the US, surrounded by peaks in excess of 9,000 feet and fed by 27 glaciers and 57 creeks. Tonight, over-night on the shores of the lake. Our adventure continues the following day as we board a cruise boat to the upper end of the lake. Stehekin is a picturesque, sparsely populated community accessible only by boat or air. Enjoy a night at the lodge, unwind and relax and take in the mountains, heather meadows and waterfalls. The next day, board the boat to Chelan. Once in Chelan, our journey continues back to Seattle.
