A fun weekend begins with a trip to Oregon to see vineyards, Mennonites and the largest collection of covered bridges in the West. We'll spend two nights in the heart of the wine country and do some great sightseeing from there. First, an expert guide will tell you tales about the rugged pioneers armed with only hand tools, sweat and ambition that began building covered bridges in Oregon during the mid-1850's. Next, we'll head to the Mennonite Festival and Auction. Enjoy incredible hand-crafted items from more than 38 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. You can browse for jewelry, home decor, gifts and more handcrafts. There is a country store with Mennonite items, used books booth, Marta's Haus featuring quilt related items, and a garden. Enjoy a spirited auction, and great food. Finally, tour some of Oregon's wineries during their harvest season. The perfect three-day getaway!
NOTE : All tour prices are based on a cash discount. A 4% fee will be added to any tour paid by credit card.
