Roll out the beer stein for a weekend of fun at Oktoberfest in Mt. Angel. Grab your lederhosen and buxom frau for a rollicking good time as we head south. Our home away from home is the 4-star Oregon Garden Resort. Snuggle into this garden of Eden, sitting amidst 80 acres of gardens. Each room has a fireplace and private garden patio or deck. A tram is located outside the lobby for a colorful trip into the 80 acre Oregon Garden. The next two days are packed full of fun as we head to Oktoberfest. The community was settled by Germans in the 1800's and the scenery will remind you of Bavaria. Whoop it up with live music on 4 stages, 50 Alpine food chalets, arts and craft shows, and a traditional Biergarten, Weingarten and Alpinegarten. This is a screaming deal.
