A day of riotous fun begins as we board amphibious World War II vehicles and see Seattle on wheels while you explore the waterfront, downtown Seattle shopping district, Pike Place Market and historic Pioneer Square. Then, SPLASH into Lake Union for a party on wheels that floats. Next enjoy a fabulous lunch before a special tour to Dunn Gardens. The garden tour begins as a docent relates the 85-plus years of Dunn family involvement with these expansive grounds. Plants in the gardens range from diminutive trilliums, no more than an inch tall, to Douglas firs towering more than 150 feet in the air. New and old intermingle, as plants dating back to the 1910s coexist happily with those just set into the soil. Woodland gardens, perennial borders, and great sweeps of lawn are just a few of the elements that make up the garden. A great lunch is included.
